Earlier HSC 2021 examinations had been cancelled in the country in the wake of the pandemic. This time it was students of Chartered Accountancy who were secretly hoping for such a miracle. However, it was not to be, as the Supreme Court on Tuesday announced that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) can conduct in-person exams from July 5, reports NDTV.
Nothing to gain from today’s SC hearing, ICAI still egoist in its today’s note that will be analysed by SC tomorrow. RTPCR test equivalent to the Arogya Setu App new discovery by ICAI. While the exams have been green-lit, the SC asked ICAI to allow COVID affected students to opt out of the tests, should they wish to. Earlier, people had been urging the top court to demand that ICAI postpone exams or wait until teachers, students, and invigilators were all vaccinated. Nevertheless, the regulatory body explained that this was not possible as COVID cases across India have decreased significantly.
Right after the news reached students, people shared memes and jokes expressing their feelings about the announcement of impending exams. Some who had anxiously expected the tests to be postponed lamented that they’d now have to complete studying the syllabus in a matter of days. Take a look-

However, there were others who expressed a different view-
He must have not even touched the books full year assuming postponement and now he is making a big show of his studies. Covid is just a pretext to escape from the exam and get more advantage of the situation. Just think of those students who have already prepared for the exam

If at all students want any justice, they should request for more passing percentage of the result rather than avoiding exam. This will enable more students to clear the groups faster and thus make room for another batch of fresh students in exam center.
— Sushil (@suseena70) June 29, 2021
More students are failed in their attempts with less result percentage, the more will be the increase of crowd in exam center with no availability of enough centers.Almost 70% students keep on attempting the exam 7-8 times which is too much wasting their age delaying employment.

Today, a bench of justices AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Aniruddha Bose will hear the plea for ‘opt-out’ option for CA aspirants who cannot take the tests on account of COVID.
