Move Over PUBG, IAF’s New Mobile Game Lets You Pilot Cool Aircrafts & Defeat Enemies!

Ever since Indian gamers were bitten by the PUBG bug, that is the only mobile game that anyone ever talks about. Its popularity is so widespread that there are now tournaments in which teams compete for a cash prize. The group that won the PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) 2019 received approximately 42 lacs as prize money and will now represent the country in the global finals. But soon there will be another game giving PUBG a run for its money and we’ve got all the details.

The Indian Air Force is all set to introduce a flight simulation mobile game on 31 July 2019. And the best part is that the animated pilot character bears an uncanny resemblance to Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.

In the game, players have to fly fighter aircraft and complete missions for the country by defeating the enemies. They will virtually experience what it feels like to be in the airforce. Here is the first look.

The game will be available for download on both Android and iOS platforms. The initial release will have a single-player mode only, but another multi-player version is also in the pipeline.

We’re loving the aerial combat missions shown in the teaser and can’t wait to get our hands on the game. We hope that it will encourage the younger generation to consider the defence sector as a viable career option in the future.
