Hyderabad Woman Shares How Uber Driver Left Without Payment As She Was Going Through Crisis

In today’s world, where hate often seems to dominate, we need people to be kind and perform small acts of kindness every day. Simple actions, like smiling at someone, holding the door open, or offering a helping hand, can make a big difference. These small gestures remind us that there is still goodness in the world. Here’s an example.

A woman living in Hyderabad took to Reddit to share how her Uber driver left without taking his payment because she was going through a crisis. Her boyfriend was admitted to the hospital and online payment services weren’t working on her phone.

“My bf was in hospital. I took an Uber moto to reach the hospital, while paying my Phone Pe did not work. I was feeling really bad for making the driver wait as it was scorching heat out in the afternoon and my Phone Pe wasn’t working. I requested him to wait to get the cash from inside after I hurriedly came out he already left from there without taking any money,” she wrote.

She went on to add that even though the amount was less, this little act of kindness from his side made her feel a lot better. The driver was in his fifties and reminded her so much of her father.
