Imagine this. You wake up in the wee hours of the morning only to cook lunch for someone. But later discover that they were actually selling it. You would be fuming with anger, right?
This is precisely how this woman reacted on knowing what her husband did with the lunch she used to pack for him every day.
Well, a couple was thinking of buying a house. Hence, they decided to cut off on all the petty expenses. In that regard, the duo decided that the wife would cook lunch for the husband to save the money he’d otherwise spend on buying food. Simultaneously, he would also eat some healthy food.
The woman started sweating it out in the kitchen to cook sandwiches for her husband, who would earlier spend over £200 (Rs 20,484) a month to pay for his lunches, reported DNA.
Then one fine day, her husband came to her and asked to pack some more sandwiches saying that they weren’t enough to satiate his hunger. Everything worked out smoothly until one day her husband’s colleagues paid a visit to them.
“We sat at the dinner table and his friend brought up the sandwiches I make for my husband and how delicious they are. I thanked him then he said the price was a bit much,” Times Now quoted her saying.
She further explained, “I was confused. I asked him to explain and he said my husband sells the sandwiches I make to his co-workers then goes to buy his own lunch from the restaurant. I was stunned. My husband denied it. I began arguing with him after his friend left. He said there was nothing wrong with it.”
Obviously, the wife was furious with her husband for selling her home-cooked, healthy food to buy fast food from the restaurant. She then stopped making him sandwiches. In his defense, the husband said that there wasn’t anything wrong with it as technically he wasn’t spending any of their savings to buy lunch.
He’s lucky that the woman only stopped cooking him lunch. I wonder how a desi woman would have reacted to him cheating on her food. LOL!
