Centuries ago, Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal for the love of his life Mumtaz Mahal, the monument of love is now among the seven wonders of the world. Before or after Shah Jahan, no man mustered up the courage and love to build such a monument for his wife ever, but, looks like, a construction manager from Nigeria is set to script history.
Said Jammal has been building a home for his wife Liza who loves to travel for the past 20 years. What makes the house newsworthy is its plane-shaped structure.
Jammal told BBC that his wife loves to travel and so he decided to build a plane-shaped house for her so she feels like she’s traveling always. Built on a complex that also includes a guest house, mosque, swimming pool, garden, lots of trees, and a covered carport/entry area, Jammal’s unusual house looks like a plane from the top.
The plane-shaped house looks stunning with a green and white design of the Nigerian flag on one side of the tail with a Lebanese cedar on the other, reports Insider. The house is well-equipped with several bedrooms, living rooms and even has a throne to sit on. Its home office also has a mini model of the home.
The construction of the house began back in 1999. Jammal’s son who was 12-years-old back then, recalls that with his other siblings, he used to help their father in designing the house after their school hours. The house is built in the Nigerian capital Abuja. Jammal, who says he has built the house for the legacy of his family and country has the potential to become a tourist attraction in the city.
All we can do is, pray that every woman gets a husband like Jammal! * Wink *
