If you are new to adulting then you’d know that staying on your own can be a blessing as well as a curse. The newfound freedom may give you the adrenalin rush, but who wants to pay bills?
But you would any day choose your freedom, even if you’re sinking in debt, than moving back in with your parents!
So, to what lengths are you willing to go in order to keep your parents out of your “adult” life?
I bet you would never give a hoax bomb threat to an airline!
A guy from France has been accused of calling in a hoax bomb threat on an EasyJet flight to keep his parents from visiting him.
According to sources, he made an anonymous phone call regarding the bomb that caused flight EZY4319 from Lyon to Rennes in France to turn around on January 18.
“The author of the facts has been identified,” the public prosecutor of Rennes said in a statement. The guy was a 23-year old student based in Rennes and his parents were on board in the same flight.
The guy is held in custody and is charged with “false news compromising the safety of an aircraft in flight”.
“The aircraft landed safely and was met by the fire brigade and the police in line with procedures. Passengers disembarked normally and were provided with information and refreshments” – said public prosecutor of Rennes.
And that’s not all!
If prosecuted, he could be fined $85,000 (60 lac approx) and imprisoned for up to five years.
So much for stopping your parents from visiting!
