Sachin, Big B & Others Praise Hima Das For Winning Her 5th Gold Medal In 19 Days!

India’s 19-year-old sprinter Hima Das recently donated half her month’s salary to Assam flood victims and inspired many others to contribute towards relief efforts. Apart from being a role model in her personal life, she has also brought home many laurels in her professional life.

On 20 July, she bagged her 5th gold medal in a month after winning the 400m race in Prague, Czech Republic (52.09 seconds).

According to NDTV Sports, she won the previous 4 medals at Tabor Athletic Meet (July 17), Klado Athletic Meet (July 13), Kunto Athletics Meet (July 7), and Poznan Athletics Grand Prix (July 2). Through her hard work and dedication, Hima Das has earned herself the nickname of ‘Dhing Express’. Her personal best time for a 400m race is 50.79 seconds which she achieved in the Jakarta Asian Games.
