“I Wanted To Curl Up With A Book And Never Leave The House.” Hillary Speaks After Trump’s Win

It is no news that Hillary Clinton has had a really long (and utterly hard) week. Because God knows, when a woman of substance with over 30 years of preparedness loses out to a man with no experience, that’s when the word ‘fair’ loses all its meaning. And presentation or people-pleasing apparently goes for a toss!

After conceding to the President-elect, Hillary made her first appearance and gave her first speech at an event for the Children’s Defense Fund in Washington, D.C . Hillary got emotional and confessed the effect the loss has had on her.

“Now I will admit coming here tonight wasn’t the easiest thing for me. I know many of you are deeply disappointed about the results of the election. I am, too, more than I can ever express.”

“I WANTED TO curl up with a good book and never leave the house again.”

 

Hillary still had a brave face and urged the people to see beyond limits in an uplifting speech. 

“America is worth it. Our children are worth it. Believe in our country, fight for our values and never, ever give up.”

However, it wasn’t hard to figure that the lady didn’t look herself. The pant-suit was intact but the signature hair waves and gloss from the lips were missing. While there was hardly any trace of makeup there, Hillary still managed to make a statement.

Twitter too, appreciated her on the brave face and had this to say:
