Cheryl Treadway of Highlands County, Florida was being held hostage along with her two kids by her boyfriend Ethan Nickerson. When she didn’t find any source of getting help, she decided to send across the information through her phone’s “Pizza Hut App”. Along with ordering a small hand tossed pizza with pepperoni, she slipped in the information that ‘she needed help’ and wanted the store owners to contact 911.

The police arrived at the given address and arrested the boyfriend.

Yet another case of domestic violence makes us feel nothing but disconsolate. Although, we salute Cheryl’s impromptu and sharp sense of judgement and we hope she remains safe and happy.
