7 Reasons Why Men Like Harvey Specter Are Very Rare, But Oh-So-Desirable!

We were floored that very instant when our favourite ‘Suits’ character mouthed this epic life mantra!

As a very dedicated Suitor, I have seen the man only become more awesome, each passing year. Harvey’s known to be the best damn closer (legally, guys) but dayum, we end up gaping with our mouths wide open at this piece of art. ? Of course, the credit goes to Gabriel Macht for being such an amazing Harvey. ❤ But Mr Specter, the character, is just something else.

Women want to be with him and men want to be him. The sad truth is that men like Harvey are rare. But rarity has its own enigma. And, isn’t it in human nature to be drawn toward or desire the unobtainable? Harvey is that man.

Here’s why I think present co-managing partner of Pearson-Specter-Litt, has set really high standards for men and is oh-so-desirable. I would want to date a man like Harvey, IRL.

1. He’s witty, smart and AWESOME.

One thing that sets Harvey apart from the crowd is his sheer confidence in himself and how witty, charming and smart he is. He firmly believes in his awesomeness and though, he knows that he’s cocky, he loves his cockiness. Ladies, dig witty men. That’s a no-brainer.

 

2. He never gives up.

Once, Harvey has decided to do something, he does it at any cost. No matter what it takes. In his own words, he doesn’t get lucky but makes his own luck. And, a man with determination is so enticing.

 

3. He’s very protective of his people.

He goes to extreme lengths to protect the people he loves or cares about the most. Be it Mike, Donna, Rachel, Louis, Jessica, Scottie, his family or even his driver Ray; Harvey does whatever he can to keep them safe. That is an admirable quality in a person.

 

4. He is great at what he does and does it best.

One very helluva trait, about Harvey and men like him, is that they know what they are good at and own their craft. Harvey knows his strength and stands tall, hovering over his contemporaries, like a boss!

 

5. He is very loyal.

Loyalty is such an alluring quality and every woman values it a lot. Harvey is loyal to his people and that’s just ?.

 

6. He cares in his own GODDAMN way.

He might be against having emotions and in favour of using them against people, but Harvey hates to admit that he cares deeply for a select few. He shows it in his own way and hates to spell it out to his people that he cares.

 

7. He’s a great talker.

Harvey knows what’s the right thing to say and the right time to say it. Well, almost. But he is extremely good at charming the pants off the ladies and making men agree to his terms by merely using words. Phew! Ain’t that an A-OK quality?

In addition to all this, he’s a risk-taker; extremely knowledgeable; listens to classic music on records; has a movie reference to cite each time; and when someone puts a gun to his head, he either takes the gun or pulls out a bigger one or calls their bluff or does one of the one hundred and forty-six other things.

Now, if that’s not desirable, I just don’t know what is!
