Harsh Goenka Asks People To Go Back To Office As WFH Is Not A ‘Viable Option’, Gets Schooled

There has been immense debate about work from home and whether we should continue it, now that the coronavirus pandemic is slowly subsiding. Earlier, businessmen like Elon Musk and Narayana Murthy wanted their employees back in the office and claimed that WFH cannot be a permanent thing.

And now, Harsh Goenka, who is the Chairman of RPG Group, took to LinkedIn to claim that employees now need to come back to the office as we need to “foster back the spirit and mission of the organization”.

He added that WFH is no longer a “viable option” and that those who want to have a full-fledged personal life will have to settle for a “mediocre” career.

This started an important debate online where several people vouched for the viability of working from home and claimed that companies who do not adapt to the new normal will only be living in the past.
