Woman Creates Harry Potter Mask That ‘Magically’ Reveals The Marauder’s Map

Roald Dahl one said, “Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” And those of us who grew up reading J.K.Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter’ series definitely believe in it. Colorado-based artist Stefanie Hook is also one such person.

According to The Sun, she created a black cloth mask that magically reveals the Marauder’s Map when the wearer breathes into it. What sorcery is this, you ask? Well, she treats the fabric so that it changes color at 27.8 degree celsius and goes back to the original when the temperature lowers.

Insider quoted her saying,

“I try to bring imagination to life in the creation of my products, ensuring that they are not one-dimensional items. I like to give the average person the ability to own items that are unique, and bring magic into the real world in hopes to further inspire others to create and be creative.”

She added,

“From start to finish, between cutting fabric, treating the fabric, waiting for the fabric to set, and sewing a single mask together, it can take 17 hours.”

While the face mask is not an N95, it would make for a wonderful collectible for any Potterhead, don’t you agree?
