When a relationship ends on a bitter note, people often look for ways to take revenge from their ex. From setting bundles of cash on fire to avoid paying divorce settlement to ex-wife or publically shaming husband for cheating, people go far and beyond to take revenge for their heartbreak.
In a similar case, a man from Salon, Uttar Pradesh got to know about his ex-girlfriend’s impending wedding with a lawyer, reports NDTV. So, in a bid to take revenge he pasted ‘Happy Holi’ posters on walls around the town with a picture of himself and his ex-girlfriend. Embarrassed with this, the woman’s parents filed a complaint about the man with the police.
The anti-Romeo squad of the police department immediately removed the posters and nabbed the 28-year-old man. He had allegedly morphed the woman’s pictures. Vineet Singh, Circle Officer, Salon, confirmed that an FIR was lodged under various sections of IPC and also the IT Act.
“The posters were taken down and Saroj Kumar was arrested from a village near Pratapgarh. He is being interrogated,” he told News 18.
