This Short Film On Achieving Happiness In Modern Life Is The Mirror We Need To Look Into RN!

When I was young I remember reading a story called ‘The Rattrap’ by Selma Lagerlof essentially about a peddler who has fallen into bad times and sells rattraps for a living. However, the story in its simplicity talks about how humans have become a pessimist race, a slave to the modern facilities of living, running in an infinite race but getting nowhere.

There is no denying that we are running in a rat race to find happiness and the recent capitalist culture has reaped the best of this craving by shoving ‘happiness’ down our throats. Happiness is for sale in the modern world and this short film made by London-based artist and animator Steve Cutts will jolt you awake with its dark take on the modern world and the pursuit of happiness.
