In December 2022, Hansika Motwani tied the knot with her long-time partner and friend Sohael Khathuriya with full pomp and show in Jaipur’s Mundota Fort and Palace. A couple of weeks after sharing pictures from the happy occasion on social media, Hansika announced her new show ‘Love Shaadi Drama’ which was to air on an OTT platform. The show documents the entire journey till her wedding.
As a result, she faced immense backlash for commercializing her big day and turning it into a television serial. But in a recent interview, she addressed these criticisms and said, “Let them keep talking. It doesn’t matter to me. It’s really okay. I know it’s coming from my heart and it’s legit reality,” reported Hindustan Times.
Besides this, a couple of people online dug deep into her past and found that Hansika Motwani used to be close friends with Sohael Khathuriya’s ex-wife, Rinki. She was also present during their marriage. Some people online also harassed her by alleging that she broke Sohael and Rinki’s marriage.
To this, she said, “It’s the price for being a celebrity. Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain.”
