Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy came with a lot of chatter and gossip. People couldn’t wrap their heads around the fact that she got married, got pregnant, and delivered a baby all in the same year.
But instead of celebrating the greatest news of their lives, people started calculating their gestation age. Some even shamed them for having a baby out of wedlock.

While many are downright alien to the concept of pre-marital sex, a large number of people still think it’s disgraceful, even when it is completely a couple’s choice and not their business. However, when such regressive ideas are expressed by a gynaecologist, it shows how messed up our society is.
Taking to Twitter, a user named Mendoza Serendipitous, who claims to be a gynaecologist, failed to understand the concept that people can have sex without being married.
She used her learned brain to do a lengthy calculation to determine Alia’s pregnancy period and concluded that her expected date of delivery should have been in January owing to the fact that Alia and Ranbir got married in April this year.
Clearly, she skipped the part that two consenting adults can have sexual intercourse without getting married. Marriage is a social construct. How does that come in between medical science?
Well, thankfully, people came to the comments section to school her on this concept she seems to be oblivious of.
Gynaecology ki book mein likha tha ke shadi ke baad hi bacha paida hota hai? Unemployed behavior.

You say you have read Obgyn and don’t know that weddings have nothing to do with conceiving.

— Abdullah Deewana (@JeanDmello) November 8, 2022
It’s about time people found out that sex and not marriage makes babies.

Well, after getting so much hate, Mendoza clarified that it was just a medical joke.
All the Dumbos wasting time in quoting

How is this a joke? And if medics in the gynaec ward mock women for conceiving without having a marriage certificate and treat them with that bias then we legit need some intervention here.
