Walking Takes The Same Time As Cab Ride In Bengaluru During Monsoon, Guy Shares Screenshot

It is monsoon season and that means many Indian cities, especially Mumbai and Bengaluru, will be coming to a standstill frequently. It takes one bout of rainfall to cause floods in a city like Bengaluru where urban planning is a mess. Hence, one can forget about reaching a place on time when it comes to travelling within the city.

Speaking of which, a guy named Ayush Singh took to X to share a screenshot from Google Maps. It shows how a cab ride from KR Puram Railway Station to Brigade Metropolis Garudachar Palya takes 44 minutes. However, walking the same distance is quicker – 42 minutes!

However, people from other cities weighed in and revealed that this is the reality in cities like Kolkata and Gurugram as well. Some were of the opinion that an intelligent person would prefer walking the distance than paying a lump sum to a cab driver for taking the same amount of time. Here’s how they reacted:
