Guy Shares His Experience Of Dating A ‘Papa Ki Pari’, Asks Others To Never Marry One

I joined Facebook around 2009. It was a simpler time and many girls used to write ‘Papa ki pari’ beside the ‘Works at’ section, while some guys wrote ‘Spending my dad’s money’. It’s 2022 and not much has changed ever since.

‘Papa Ki Pari’ has now become a stereotype that includes women born into privileged households, who don’t take their education or career seriously because they’ll be taken care of and expect their partners to treat them like the ‘princesses’ they are.

One guy happened to date one of these papa ki pari-s and his experience hasn’t been a great one. He took to r/India on Reddit to share his ordeal and wrote, “Guys, Never ever date/marry a Papa ki Pari. She’ll make your life worse.”

“Met this girl few months back, initially everything was fine until we started living together. She thinks that the world revolves around her, if she wakes up at 6, she won’t let you sleep you’ve to wake up too, if she sleeps at 10 because she’s tired you’ve to sleep as well otherwise booooo you’re bad. Does she help me with Rent, electricity, food? No. Does she help me with household chores? No fucking No. Does she live rent free wanting me to do all the work, never fight with her and be available whenever she wants? Yes Oh Yes, you’ve got the right answer.” (sic)

“For once, I asked her to boil me some water to drink with lemon, guess what? She explains me about why water should only be boiled in a kettle and not on stove because of some covalent bonds and shit. I got up and boiled it myself,” he added.

He finally claimed, “She has not even the slightest worry about her career, all she wants is comfort. I’ve tried teaching her a few things and every time she ends up all sleepy. Don’t want to learn shit and just procrastinate. Guys the amount of money I’ve spent on her in the last 2 months, if I, if I literally would’ve saved it, this guy would have been typing this post on MacBook M2 Pro.”

He says he has also tried breaking up with her but she emotionally manipulates him into continuing the relationship claiming that she has nowhere else to go.

Several people took to the comments section to share some advice, most of which included asking him to break up as his life would otherwise be miserable.
