Imagine you are having the best sleep of your life after a long tiring day. A comfortable mattress, the AC set to the perfect temperature, and you’ve given the kaamwali bai the day off to not show up out of the blue and put a wrench in it. Just the ideal situation. However, unlike these external elements, there is one thing you cannot make sure goes your way.
Your dreams. What might start off as an amazing dream featuring your crush professing their undying love to you, can quickly morph into a nightmare involving kidnappers, no internet access and realising that your crush is actually a jerk. *shudders*
And it happens to the best of us. Even new mom Gul Panag.
Gul today posted on Instagram about a dream that she had had last night. And as far as nightmares go, it’s a pretty bad one.
She wrote:
“Dreamt that I was in jail. For riding without a helmet.
As good a reminder as any – NEVER, EVER RIDE WITHOUT A HELMET. No matter how short the distance. No matter how strong the temptation ( to not get ‘helmet hair’, to look ‘cool’ ,etc).”
She ends the post saying “Also, it’s not a handbag. So don’t put it on your arm.” Listen to her kids.
Along with the description of her dream that basically acts as a public service announcement for the importance of helmets, she shared a pic of herself looking suave on a bike holding a helmet.
Kunal Kemmu had previously tried to pull off a similar post on helmet safety, but unfortunately for him, the Mumbai Police had backfired it on him. Unlike Kunal, Gul’s post is only working out in favour of her as the post has received over 8.5k likes in just 8 hours.
Well, there you have it peeps. Helmet awareness has spread to the dream world as well. At least wear one now, will you?
