One of the things that my grandma used to love doing until a couple of years ago was dressing up in a gorgeous-looking saree and going out to watch a movie in the theatres. She is a lot older now and she misses going to movie halls because her body doesn’t allow her anymore.
I was instantly reminded of her when I came across a video posted by a guy named Dr Deepak Anjna who took his grandfather to the movie theatres recently. What’s amazing is that the last time his grandpa went to a movie theatre, it was 1980. It’s been 42 years since.
The video was posted on Instagram and Dr Anjna wrote, “POV: You are going to the theatre with your Grandpa (last time my grandpa went to the theatre in 1980).”
They watched Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rakshabandhan’ together and his grandpa sure seems to have had a great time!
