Prankster Grandpa Pulls A Prank At His Own Funeral With A Message From His Grave

We know how tough it is to lose someone we love. The family members of the deceased often go through emotional turbulence that causes them to cry their heart out. But one Irish grandad decided that he simply didn’t want his family to go through the pain of losing him without a spell of unexpected laughter. So, to ensure that his funeral wouldn’t be all about mourning, he staged a funny prank, right from his coffin!

When his near and dear ones were mourning at his grave, this Defense Forces veteran Shay Bradley, pulled one last joke on his family, as a pre-recorded message.

The video of his funeral that was shared by Shay’s daughter Andrea Bradley on Facebook, shows people gathered around the coffin. But they didn’t know they were in for a final surprise from the grandfather-of-eight. All of a sudden, a pre-recorded message plays in Shay’s voice, right from the coffin.

Sharing the video, Andrea wrote on Facebook:

“My dad’s dying wish, always the pranksters, ya got them good Poppabear and gave us all a laugh just when we needed it!! I will love you forever.”

The prankster grandfather from Kilnamanagh, South Dublin, even in death, had the family laughing out loud. In the recording, he can be heard using curse words, asking the people to pull him out of his coffin.

He can be heard yelling:

“Hello? Let me out. It’s ******* dark in here.” “Let me out. Where the **** am I? Is that priest I can hear? I can hear you! I’m in the box.”

The message ends up with Shay singing a ‘Neil Diamond’ song. As Fox News reports, only two of his family members knew about the prank including his son who helped him shoot the video while he was struggling with cancer at the hospital.

How thoughtful of him to pull the last prank so that no one sheds another tear for him. This is the cutest thing ever.
