Internet Explorer To Finally Shut Down, Twitter Bids It Goodbye With Memes

Internet Explorer is finally about to retire. Yes, you read that right. According to a report by Business Standard, Microsoft has recently announced that it would be shutting down Internet Explorer support by August 2021. The decision comes after barely 1.3% of the world’s internet surfers used IE in July 2020, most of whom supposedly opened it “by mistake”.

According to TOI, in a statement provided by Microsoft, support for Internet Explorer will end post August 17, 2021. This means that the browser will stop working on Microsoft products like Office 365, Outlook, etc.
