They say that it takes a village to raise a child. I think it also takes a village to take care of a pregnant woman and a new mother. You see, women are expected to go through the whirlwind that is pregnancy and post-partum with minimal help. But they need help, even more than they express, to get through it all. And some did get the help they needed.
Women online have been listing the cutest things that the men in their lives did for them while they were pregnant and after child birth.
Ladies tell me one good thing your husband or a male figure in your life did for you during pregnancy/labour/postpartum. Just want to see something.

From simple things like men helping their pregnant wives wear their shoes to satisfying every craving they have, whenever they have; from cleaning their vomit to cooking every meal, the responses given by women is bound to make you gush with happiness! Here’s a look at some of them:
My husband carried me up and down the stairs every day during my 3rd pregnancy as I was unable to walk for several months.

All of my brothers satisfied all of my cravings no matter what time it was. One of my younger brothers made himself in charge of ensuring I was having my daily veg intake and was so attentive to how I was feeling. 🥺💞

Brings almost everything I ask for (cravings). Gives massages. Stays awake when I’m unable to sleep. Keeps reminding me that it’s gonna be worth it and you’ll be a great mom. Comforts me whenever I cry (for no apparent reason). Etc etc etc.

I was sick in my husband’s brand new car. He took me home. Helped me in the bath and I got cleaned up. Cried loads (no idea why). He cleaned his car (no issues) & made me something to eat. I don’t know why but that particular time sticks out for me. There were lots of others too.

I hate vomiting and morning sickness with my second son was awful. Each episode would send me into a panic and tears. He would clean up behind me each time, wash my face and let me be dramatic no matter how many times it had happened that day.

Currently in the 3rd trimester — husband is sure to put my shoes on for me every time we leave the house so I don’t have to bend over.😅

After pushing for an hour and no baby I heard the doctor tell the nurse to get ready for an emergency c-section. He must’ve seen the panic in my eyes bc he took my hand and told me not to worry & that it was all going to be fine. It was the most comforting I’ve ever felt.

Since giving birth he’s been cooking healthy meals for me every single day. It’s been two months so far. Thanks to the food he makes for me, I’ve lost a lot of the pregnancy weight.

I was at my parents house my last trimester. I used to drink red raspberry leaf tea everyday for the last few weeks since I heard it eases labour, my younger brother would make me a cup every single day no matter the time & my dad would bring me breakfast in bed everyday. 🤧😩

He got me every single thing I craved. He made me breakfast every morning before he went to work. We would go walking after work together for exercise. He got me all my favourite food when was in labour even though I couldn’t eat. He really stepped up alhamdulilah

My dad made sure he gave me enough money for whatever I needed/wanted, my FIL made sure of how I was feeling and made sure my husband took extra care of me. My husband, cravings, massages, fed me, bathed me, didn’t let me do anything at all! Alhamdulillah.

I had slipped disc during my 3rd pregnancy. Couldn’t get up for days. So he did everything. House chores, taking care of other kids. Brought food to bed & the list goes on. And he never missed our check up appointment despite his busy schedule. From 1st to 3rd child.

my dad did EVERYTHING for me when I was pregnant; put my socks & shoes on, never let me bend down, looked after my 10month old 24/7, made me food and fed me, took me out on walks, every single thing ❤️ may Allah give him a very long happy and healthy life, ameen ❤️ https://t.co/sZ8SdkQ2lu

Everything! But one thing that really touched me was when he removed his shirt for me to vomit in ( I had hyperemis gravidanum) on a military plane. He also cleaned my dress & every other mess whilst shielding me to make me comfortable & less embarrassed. https://t.co/1aDjqpDrY7

This makes me believe how people have the ability to be incredibly selfless and warm!
