The latest edition of the #MeToo movement has started its next phase, and that’s to punish the men who’ve been accused. Some of the big names who’ve been axed from the positions they were holding are M.J. Akbar, Suhel Seth, Sajid Khan, Anu Malik and many more. And going by a Goa girl’s actions, that has empowered women more than ever.
In a video that’s been uploaded by Hasiba Amin, we can see a girl named Asma Shaikh standing up to the man who had allegedly touched her inappropriately and flashed her as well.
So this is what is happening in Goa. @IndiaMeToo #MeToo pic.twitter.com/nMMmko91YJ

According to Asma, at the time of this incident, the bus conductor had called the cops. Additionally, the man who was guilty of allegedly abusing her, had offered to give her a written apology. But she refused to leave it that because she feared that this man wouldn’t stop here and would go on to harm other girls as well.
The accused was also made to face the music and he ended up giving the classic example of how it all had happened “by mistake”.
And he is the guy who did it. Says his zip was open by mistake and penis came out 'by mistake'. Wtf is wrong with men? We cannot let these people get away with it!!! So disturbing @IndiaMeToo pic.twitter.com/r2Gdu4Kptx

Apparently, he was trying to convince everyone that he was accepting that he had done it by mistake. But before the video ends, you can hear Asma refuting his claims by saying that she saw him intentionally undoing his zipper.
The video has currently gone viral and netizens have rightfully lauded Asma for standing her ground.

5. Raising your voice is the most important thing to do.
More power to this girl.
I've been through these moments too in public/public transports and its not easy to speak about it. But Its important to raise your voice it may not cause much damage to these predators but its necessary to humilate them in public. https://t.co/sPWvGnmjRQ— Ayesha-عائیشہ 🇵🇰 (@Ayesha_ZaYain2) October 30, 2018

At the time of writing this article, there have been no reports of whether the cops reached the scene of the crime and held the man accountable for his actions. Nevertheless, it was inspiring to see Asma fight for her right and pave the path for young women to stand up to despicable men looking for a chance to harass them.
