We live in a modern world. A world full of scientific discoveries and technological advancements, yet sadly, a number of people in our society remain ignored of the basic facts that have been established for hundreds of years. While on one hand, we are using the internet and developing faster modes of communications, on the other, some people are denying climate change and question the fact of Earth being a sphere.
In order to make people aware of the importance of science in our daily lives, scientists (and others) joined hands and marched side by side all over the world on Saturday, April 22. Calling it ‘The Global March for Science’, the event coincided with ‘Earth Day’.
