A daughter’s love for her parents is unconditional. They do not shy away from making sacrifices for them whenever needed. Recently, a 19-year-old girl from Kolkata has set an example of the ultimate sacrifice and love for parents by donating 65% of her liver to her father, who was suffering from a serious liver ailment and required an immediate transplant.
Entrepreneur Harsh Goenka shared the inspiring story of Rakhi Dutta on his Twitter handle.
“Rakhi Dutta, a 19 year donated 65% of her liver to her father who was suffering from a serious liver ailment, without even thinking of the scars, pain or any future threat. A daughter’s love for her father is always very special. An answer to all who think daughters are useless (sic),” he wrote alongside a picture of the father-daughter duo flaunting their scars after the transplant.

Such an inspiring tale of love and sacrifice by a daughter it is! In some parts of India, daughters are still considered as a burden, but this incident is certainly a lesson for all those people who think that daughters are a burden.
