Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza kickstarted her acting career in 2003 with the movie ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’. After a long break, she recently announced her return to films after marriage.
On account of her mother’s birthday, Genelia took to social media to share a priceless throwback photo with her:
Genelia penned an emotional note reminiscing her early career days as an actor, and how her mother stood by her always. She wrote, “I came from a middle-class family but when offered a role, I had a mum who looked at it as an opportunity, gave up her job to be with me on sets, and looked after my career without even knowing too much about it.”

She further added, “So when I actually think of all the things, I think I have excelled in, I realize I could do it because I had the World’s Greatest Lady telling me. We are the best of friends- My Mother and I.”
