Saving money for special occasions is never an easy task. After all, it requires a lot of planning and sacrifices. However, the joy of traveling or enjoying a celebration after going through all the trouble is always worth it. Isn’t it?
Sadly, for a woman, who got engaged in December last year, all her wedding savings were used up by her fiance to buy a gaming PC. Here’s what she shared on Reddit – the woman and her soon-to-be husband had initially decided to save money for their wedding and honeymoon. In fact, in 6 months they were able to save around $8000 (Rs.6 lakh approximately).
All was going well until last month when her fiance’s best friend bought a new gaming PC and he wanted one too. He begged her soon-to-be wife for it. Even though initially, she denied because they already had laptops, she later gave in. However, she wasn’t aware about the cost of the computer.
Later, when not only the gaming PC but also a new table and chair were delivered to their house, the woman asked her fiance about the total cost. She was shocked to learn that he had spent their entire saving on it. The couple had a huge argument over it and he finally told her, “I will earn it all back soon.” However, she didn’t trust him. And boy was she right!

According to her, her fiance plays video games the entire day and ignores her completely. In fact, he only talks to her when he needs food or water. He has not only stopped helping with household chores but has also stopped taking his WFH seriously.
