Why did they kill the Night King so early into the season? What about the Azor Ahai prophecy? Why did Cersei have to have such a sweet death? How did Sansa and Arya react after knowing Jon is a Targaryen? Why didn’t the last war focus more on the characters? Why did showrunners turn George R.R. Martin’s magic into mush?
I can probably list out a 100 other questions I have for ‘Game of Thrones’ season 8 even when the finale episode is 2 days away. This season was disappointing for a lot of people for a lot of reasons. Fans claimed the narrative was too fast-paced, character development went down the drain, the events too predictable (besides Arya Killing the Night King, of course!), and overall very sloppy writing.
And all this reflects in the critical ratings for this season.

While fans were taken aback by the kind of let-down GOT’s most awaited season has been, it seems like the cast knew all along how it would turn out!
According to sources, a viral video which has been making rounds of the internet shows a compilation of some of the cast’s reaction when asked about season 8 and it’s relatable AF!
- Here’s Emilia Clarke answering some questions.
3. Peter Dinklage talking about the ending.
4. And Conleth Hill trying very hard not to throw up.

While GOT fans started an online petition asking showrunners to remake season 8 with thousands of signatures supporting it already, many stepped forward in its defence.
Signing a petition to demand HBO remake Season 8 of “Game of Thrones” is not only juvenile and embarrassing, it will be about as effective as signing a petition to add five more days to June “cuz then summer will be longer!”
