In case you’ve been completely out of the loop regarding what’s happening in the world of James Bond, here’s a little primer. Daniel Craig, who’s the current Bond, hinted that he won’t be returning for the next film. So, the studios offered him a huge sum of money to have another go and Craig returned. Then they hired Danny Boyle to direct the next film, but he departed due to “creative differences” and in came Cary J. Fukunaga.
That said, the next film might be Craig’s last tango as James Bond. But since the show must go on, the studios need their next 007. Luckily, their search might’ve ended with an actor many are familiar with.
According to DNA, the name that’s on the top of producer Barbara Broccoli’s list for the role of James Bond is ‘Game of Thrones’ star Richard Madden. The insider said,
“It’s seriously looking like he (Madden) is going to get the job. She is preparing to offer the role.”
If this is true, the producers aren’t the only one who’s interested to put Madden in a tux and sip on martini. The Scottish actor’s father had said that even Madden wants to be Bond,
“I’m quite sure he does want that to be on his CV one day but he’s not making a song and dance about it. Whether it’s Bond or any big role, Richard has ideas about things he’d like to do. It’s probably best whatever his desires or thoughts are to keep it to himself.”
While there’s no info on what Richard Madden thinks about this rumour, fans of the actor are already excited to see him as James Bond:

Richard Madden has shown his acting chops and ability to carry action scenes impressively in ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Bodyguard’. So, although Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddlestone and Henry Cavill’s names are being thrown around, as a hardcore fan of the Starks, my vote certainly goes to Madden.
