The Game Of Leaks: HBO Hackers Threaten To Leak More Stuff This Sunday. *screams*

Since the news of HBO’s hack hit all, people have been in a constant state of frenzy. Just when we were wrapping our heads around the breach, news came in that the Game of Thrones season 7 episode 4 was leaked online. But that was not from HBO’s end, it was actually the distribution channel, read a statement from HBO.

But, Variety received an automated email from the hacker group that claims that there would be more leaks, gradually. More so, this Sunday.

“The group wrote that it will ‘release the leak gradually every week,’ adding that the next release may come ‘Sunday 12 GMT.’ The group also repeated its claim that it had obtained a total of 1.5 terabyte of data when it broke into HBO’s computer networks.”

That would be at wee hours on Monday, in India.

HBO president and CEO Richard Plepler assured that the email network of the company isn’t compromised and is still safe.

“At this time, we do not believe that our email system as a whole has been compromised, but the forensic review is ongoing.”

The mess that HBO is into, doesn’t seem to go away anytime soon. The leak of the data and the episodes directly affect the TRPs of the show and also prove to be a huge loss for the makers and the network channels involved.

The website that was used to leak the scripts and the episode have been inaccessible for the past two days.

The episode officially airs on Sunday 9 p.m. pacific time.

We would urge all GoTians to kindly wait and not let the efforts of the whole team go to waste.
