The last episode of the American sitcom ‘FRIENDS’ aired on May 6, 2004, and it has been years that all of us have been secretly wishing for a reunion of the stars of this iconic series.
Well, we come bearing good news.
According to The Indian Express, the reunion is here. The makers officially revealed that the reunion episode is coming on May 27, 2021. Feeding our excitement, they also released the official teaser of ‘Friends: The Reunion’ starring all the stars of the show namely Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.
The teaser reportedly features the silhouettes of the six friends walking hand in hand while the instrumental version of the theme song of the show, The Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There for You”, plays in the background.
As reported by the Independent, the reunion special episode will showcase the cast’s memories of the show and also star several other iconic celebs including David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Lady Gaga, Elliott Mindy Kaling, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon, Malala Yousafzai among others.
The unscripted reunion special was first announced in February 2020, but it had been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the stars have reunited to take us down the memory lane of 90’s Manhattan.
