“I Hate To See The World In Danger,” 8 YO Writes In Heartrending Song About Climate Change

Not just adults, young children are also worried about climate change. Greta Thunberg from Sweden, Licypriya Kangujam from Manipur and thousands of students are skipping school to participate in climate strikes across the globe. They are raising awareness about sustainability and urging politicians and world leaders to enact strict climate protection laws.

According to ET Canada, eight-year-old Frankie Morland hailing from the U.K. has written and recorded a song on the issue named “World In Danger” in collaboration with his school choir.

Here are the lyrics:

I hope we will be fine,
I hate to see the world in danger,
I want to enjoy your beauty,
Before you’re gone

Let’s all enjoy the world today,
Climb the trees and breath the air
Let’s all enjoy the world
Because tomorrow could be a very different day.
