It’s just been 2 days since the Paris Attacks and after militant group, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks, Paris and the French government have already taken action against them.
20 bombs were dropped at Raqqa, Syria, on Sunday night as retaliation for the attacks on Paris on Friday, 13th November. This is France’s most aggressive attack on the ISIS camps. Until now, France’s airstrikes had been restricted mainly to Iraq and it had bombed Syria only sparingly.

But following the attacks on 13th, French President François Hollande has vowed to be “unforgiving with the barbarians”.
The French raid was carried on by 12 French aircrafts, including 10 fighter jets and was aided by American forces. They struck and destroyed two bases of ISIS in Raqqa, which the group proclaims to be their capital.

American Officials said they had provided “strike packages” to French officials which had all the information to help them figure out the ISIS bases.

Activists on the ground at Raqqa have denied any civilian casualties in the hospitals so far, but they did confirm that the bombings destroyed ‘clinics, a museum and other buildings in an urban area, leaving the full extent of the damage unknown’.
France lost many innocent lives on Friday, but doesn’t an eye for an eye make the whole world blind?
