Former Miss Colombia Dances Despite Amputated Leg, People Online Call Her A ‘Warrior’

We all hate setbacks, don’t we? We don’t like the idea of failing or feeling helpless when a crisis demands us to act. It is easy to feel defeated when the going gets rough. However, time and again we are reminded of how we can jump back and live life happily despite the tough times.

For example, former Miss Colombia, Daniella Alvarez, has undergone an operation to remove a lump from her abdomen. But due to certain severe complications during the surgery, doctors had to amputate the lower half of one leg, reports India Today.

This meant that Daniella would have to give up two of her favourite activities – dancing and swimming. However, in a recent video uploaded by her, Daniella is seen dancing her heart out with her brother, Ricki Alvarez, despite having an amputated leg. She twirled to the song and how!
