Foreigner Bargains Like A Pro To Crack Some Amazing Deals In Delhi

Be it the famous ‘Sarojini Nagar’ in New Delhi or the crowded ‘New Market’ in Kolkata, India is a country where you can shop your hearts out without making a hole in your pocket. However, you would require the effective skill of bargaining in order to get your work done at these local ‘bazaars’.

And because of the cheap and affordable deals you can crack here, not only Indians but even foreigners love to leave the land with their suitcases stuffed.

This brings us to a video made by a tourist, who made the most out of Indian markets with his bargaining skills on point.

In the video which has been posted from the YouTube channel Collin Abroadcast, we can see the man invading the streets of New Delhi. He starts by speaking about how he has always heard of India to be the ‘land of bargains’ and the fact that he wishes to do exactly the same in the clip.

First up, Collin goes to a watch shop to get something fancy for his wrist. The shopkeeper shows him some original first copies of Rolex, Cartier, and Rado and puts a price tag of Rs.3000. But wait, Collin had some other ideas. In a hilarious claim, he asks the shopkeeper to give the watch to him for just 700 bucks.

While the shopkeeper looked stunned, Collin stood firm on his word. Believe it or not, after a few minutes of argument, he did manage to pick up two watches for Rs.2000. That’s Rs.1000 each!

Astonishingly, that was just the beginning of some extraordinary negotiations he made. A watch for Rs.200 (initially priced at 1200), a sunglass for Rs.125 (initially priced at 900), and a shoe for Rs.2000 (initially priced at 2500) are red hot catches, right?

Admit it. We have all been there done that. 😛
