Car Enthusiast Transforms A Ford Raptor Into Tesla’s Futuristic Cybertruck, Watch Video

Ever since Tesla unveiled its Cybertruck in November last year, several car enthusiasts globally have been waiting for its launch. However, since its availability is expected only in late 2021, an eager fan of the all-electric pickup truck decided to come up with his own version of the futuristic vehicle, reports Times Now.

IT specialists and engineers at Igor Krezic’s Stark Solutions were reportedly given the task of replicating the vehicle. It took eight months for the team to disassemble a rugged Ford Raptor F-150 into its smallest parts and then transform it into the Tesla EV, reports HT Auto. However, the Bosnian fan’s replica of the Cybertruck has one major distinction from the original one.

While Tesla’s Cybertruck is reportedly an environment-friendly vehicle, the one built by Igor runs on petrol. According to Mario Coric, the company manager, the petrol-powered vehicle drew a lot of attention during the first drive through the streets of the southern town of Mostar.

He was quoted saying by Gadgets 360,

“Everybody was watching and half of them thought we made a tank because people don’t know what the Cybertruck is. One girl even stopped and asked if this is the place where they are producing Tesla Cybertruck.”

He mentioned that even though the truck may not look identical to Cybertruck’s functional prototype it does capture the spirit. He added, “The owner wanted us to combine two opposite sides — Ford and Cyber — because he is a fan of both Tesla and Ford, so we merged two souls into one.”

“This one uses gasoline and Tesla uses electricity. We tried to copy as much as possible but our car is not the same size as the Cybertruck.”

Coric said that they are now trying to register the pickup to be able to drive it on roads. However, they are encountering problems because sharp vehicle edges like those seen on the vehicle are banned in Bosnia. Well, a Ford Raptor converted into a Cybertruck sure seems like a dreamy vehicle. What do you think? Tell us!
