Everyone remembers their first kiss? Don’t they? It’s a special feeling one may or may not cherish for the rest of their lives. For some, their first kiss is magical; for some, it’s horrible; and for some, it is yet to happen.

But you have to admit that there’s a level of inquisitiviteness about knowing the story of one’s first. One such Reddit thread was discussing that and Redditors came up with these answers. They are a great mix of good, bad and funny.

1. Gurl, had it planned.

“She asked me over to fix her computer. There was nothing wrong with it. She looked at me shrugged then kissed me. It was a trap.”

 

2. “What is it about elevators?”

“I was on a cruise at age 16 and I was talking with this girl and she was gonna go to her room to go to sleep. Naturally, I offered to walk her back. When we got off the elevator she looked at me and just said ‘now what?’ I kinda half shrugged and she pushed me against the elevator and kissed me.”

 

3. Awkward yet cute.

“I was 14, and it was at a school dance. There was a girl who I’d had a crush on for a while and we were dancing in that awkward high school kind of way, slowly getting closer and closer. I was trying to build up the courage to kiss her, and eventually just forced myself to do it. I pulled my head off her shoulder and went for it, but right at that moment she turned to scratch her nose, and I ended up kissing a mouthful of her hair. She turned and started laughing, at which point I confessed I was trying to kiss her. When she stopped laughing she kissed me.”

“I was a freshman in high school and was with this guy I had been friends with for a while. We were seeing the movie sucker punch and the whole time he wouldn’t stop talking about how sexy all the girls in the movie were. Finally, he starts to kiss me, tongue right down my throat, saliva flying everywhere. I thought to myself ‘wow kissing really sucks.’ It’s been about eight years and he will always be my first and my worst kiss.”

“I was a freshman in high school when I started ‘dating’ this guy. We were just in the holding hands stage and I definitely wasn’t allowed to date. Right behind our school’s parking lot there was an alley that led to a city park. He parked his car on the other side of the park and I always walked home meaning we had to say goodbye in that alleyway. He kissed my forehead, my nose and my chin to say goodbye. I told him ‘You missed!’ and then he kissed my lips. It was pretty cute.”

 

7. Brave girl and that boy was such a bully.

“I was 12 I think, and I had this guy chancing me for 2 years (yes, we were 10 and he was already on the hunt). I never liked him, I mean, I was so young. Kissing? Eeewww. Anyways one day he and his friends pushed me against a corner and grabbed my arms while the little bastard kissed me! When they released me, I kicked him and ran.”
