Female Footballer Dislocates Knee, Slaps It Back In Place & Continues Playing For 40 Mins

Female athletes like PV Sindhu, Hima Das, Mary Kom, Dutee Chand and others have busted the myth that women cannot play sports or that they are weaker than men, multiple times. The past year has witnessed the remarkable rise of female athletes across the world and it is time we give women their due respect.

Speaking of which, a video of a Scottish female footballer dislocating her knee in the middle of a match, slamming it back in place, and continuing to play the match for the remaining 40 minutes has gone viral on the internet, reports BBC.

The incident happened during a match between St Mirren WFC and Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The woman is the captain of St Mirren WFC, Jane O’Toole.

This video is a punch in the gut of anyone who considers women as the weaker sex.

It is nervewracking to watch the female footballer writhing in pain while slamming her knee back to place. Watch the video here:

People on the internet are blown away by the strength and courage shown by the woman. Many went on to call out footballers who fake injuries at the drop of a hat!

Since time immemorial, women have been discriminated against owing to their physiology. Just recently the central government claimed that women cannot be commanding officers as they are physically different from men. Such examples of female grit should be widely circulated for biased gender notions to cease.

Nevertheless, we laud the woman for her strength!
