Father Of Martyred CRPF Jawan Says He’s Willing To Sacrifice His Other Son Too For The Country

The country is mourning the loss of the martyred CRPF jawans after the Pulwama terrorist attack which happened yesterday. More than 40 soldiers have been killed in the attack carried out by Pakistan sponsored Jaish-e-Mohammed after a suicide bomber rammed his SUV containing 200kgs of explosives against the military convoy.

Following the incident, PM Narendra Modi has given a free hand stating that Indian military forces will avenge the lost lives of our jawans and the attack will not go unpunished.

A few hours after the attack, father of CRPF personnel Ratan Thankur reached out to the media giving a heart-wrenching message about the loss of his son.

The braveheart’s father said that after sacrificing one son to the service of our motherland, he is ready to give up his other son too, but the perpetrators should be punished.

“Pakistan must be given a befitting reply”, he said.

His message touched the hearts of people across the country. We can only imagine the pain the families are going through.

Several have reached out and are showering respect and support to the braveheart’s father.

This is a parallel India. Away from all the glamour, hi tech, modernisation, these people and their families silently protect us, without regrets, giving much more to the nation than most of us. Are we doing enough for them? No. But they don't complain either.
