What Happened When Dairy Farmers Met The Dilli Boys? These Pictures Will Win Your Heart!

How often is that you thank the people who are responsible for putting food on our plates? Not much, right? But, we should take a moment and thank our hard-working farmers for their efforts and give them their dues. Even they need recognition. And that’s what Mother Dairy did.

As part of their #JeetengeDil campaign, Mother Dairy for the second year in a row facilitated a meet and greet between our diligent dairy farmers and the Delhi Daredevil players. And what happened when these Mother Dairy farmers met the Dilli Boys- Zaheer Khan, Karun Nair, Sanju Samson, Corey Anderson and others? These pictures have a story to tell.

1. The stage was set for them to take on.

2. Our farmers were dressed in colours of Mother Dairy – Blue and White and looked really good.

3. They were recognised and were lauded for their efforts.

4. And, were waiting for Team Delhi Daredevil to arrive.

5. The Dilli Boys joined them soon.

6. DD Captain, Zaheer Khan spoke his mind and thanked the farmers for their untiring efforts.

7. So did Karun Nair.

8. Since the whole ambiance was on the lines of cricket, how can the farmers not try their hands at some cool tricks?

9. The cricket-themed cake looked really yum and was devoured pretty soon.

10. They posed for the cameras, like one BIG team. P.S. Don’t miss the victory sign there.

11. And, then shared “Hi”-Tea together.

12. The farmers were really happy to meet the players and wished them luck for the on-going IPL season.

Now, isn’t that something?

It was not long ago that the dairy farmers were seen cheering the Daredevils at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. And then they even got a chance to meet the players, up close and personal. The joy on their faces was unmissable. After all, jeet liya dil!
