Some people have been known to brew up a storm of trouble in order to take revenge from people. For instance, a revenge-seeking woman claimed she gave HIV to all the men who wronged her, or how another person from Mumbai faked a bomb threat after a fight with the waiter.
Recently, a woman living in SGM Nagar, Faridabad suspected that her husband was having an affair and plotted on taking revenge on him in the most bizarre way. As per a report in India Today, PRO of Faridabad Police, Sube Singh explained, “Her husband used to often return home late at night, and sometimes would not return at night altogether because of which the woman began suspecting him. The couple had been getting into a lot of fights over this recently and, to take revenge against him, she decided to trap him in a police case and get him arrested.”
Continuing further he said, “The woman went to Delhi and bought cannabis from a man named Pawan, which she placed in her husband’s auto rickshaw. She then tipped off police regarding the drugs.”
“The woman has been arrested by police and 700 grams of cannabis seized. An FIR has been registered against her under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the SGM Nagar police station,” the PRO stated.
“She has been produced in court and sent to prison. Investigations are underway to track down and nab Pawan, from whom she had purchased the drugs,” he concluded.
We sure wish people would come up with less drastic ways to get back at people who wrong them!
