As soon as Disney released its much-awaited teaser trailer for ‘The Lion King’ on Friday, we were taken back on an emotional ride to the 90s. The live-action film is a shot-by-shot remake of the original that mesmerized us in 1994 and also has James Earl Jones, reprising his role of Mufasa.
While the teaser has left us with gigantic expectations when the film hits the theatres next summer, people have come up with a brilliant idea to tribute the Walt Disney masterclass.
In a bid to showcase their excitement, netizens are recreating Simba’s iconic coronation scene from the movie. Yes, you have guessed it right. It’s the moment when Rafiki introduces baby Simba to the entire animal kingdom, by holding him up from the edge off the cliff.
