Ranveer Singh Recounts The Time He Ran Naked Behind A Fan Who Tried To Film Him

Being a celebrity is no easy task. You’re constantly being watched, your personal space is more or less non-existent, everything you do can and will be reported in the news. From paparazzi to media houses to fans, all eyes will be on you, even when you least expect it.

Although it may seem really appealing for an outsider to see celebrities being surrounded by fan love and glamour at all times, it is not always a pleasant experience. Online trolls and angry fans can make it a bitter experience like it did for Tamannah when a fan hurled a shoe at her.

Recently, Ranveer Singh, the over-enthusiastic-but-all-time-favourite actor, had quite a disturbing experience after a fan tried to film him when he was naked.

As per Bombay Times, Ranveer was changing after a swim when a fan was filming him. He said,

“I was in the changing room, buck naked. I’m drying my hair in one of the stalls. I look and there’s a guy filming with his light on. I was like, ‘Light toh off kar leta, toh pakda nahi jaata’. (Should have switched off the light, you wouldn’t have been caught then)”

Sure there’s a price to pay for all that fame. Ranveer added,

“I ran across the changing room, in my condition, and I shouted ‘Aye!’ Because of the way I shouted, he panicked and forgot to run away. Can you imagine naked me going, ‘Aye, Aye!’? I caught his arm and I grabbed the phone. Fortunately, I had that presence of mind. If that video came out… I had to destroy it. It goes to this extent almost every other day.”

It’s one thing to want to know what your favourite actor is doing, wearing, eating and where they are partying. But it’s really creepy (and disgusting) to secretly film them in changing rooms.

Well, fans can go a tad bit overboard when it comes to their love for the celebrities. But this is pure voyeurism and fans need to know where to draw a line between admiration and creepy-stalker behaviour.
