For the past week, Neha Kakkar and Falguni Pathak have been grabbing headlines. First, Neha Kakkar remade Falguni Pathak’s famous song ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankai’ and later, Pathak made it very clear that she is unhappy with it and wished to sue Kakkar.

While Falguni Pathak had been amplifying the voices of her fans who asked her to sue Kakkar, she also revealed that she doesn’t have the rights to the song and hence, she cannot take legal action against Kakkar or T-Series.
However, in a strange turn of events, Falguni Pathak performed alongside Neha Kakkar for an episode of Indian Idol. According to Indian Express, in the upcoming episode of Indian Idol 13 which is a Navratri special, the two singers will be seen side by side.
A promo was shared on social media where Neha Kakkar, Aditya Narayan and Himesh Reshammiya are seen playing dandiya while Falguni Pathak sings an original song.

Earlier, Pathak took a dig at ‘O Sajna’ (Neha Kakkar’s remix of her song) and said, “Remixes are happening but do it in a decent way. If you want to reach out to the younger generation, change the rhythm of the song, but don’t make it cheap. Don’t change the originality of the song. I don’t think I need to do anything; my fans are taking action against the song. I am just sharing the stories. Why should I keep quiet when they are supporting me, main kaise chup baithun,” reported Outlook.
