Falguni Pathak Reacts To Neha Kakkar’s Remake Of Her Song, Says She Wants To Sue Her

A few days ago, Neha Kakkar faced massive backlash after her song ‘O Sajna’ dropped which was a complete remake of Falguni Pathak’s iconic song ‘Maine Payal Hai Chhankai’. 90s kids were left furious and accused Neha Kakkar of ruining a classic that they grew up listening to.

Falguni Pathak hadn’t given an official statement about the incident but was amplifying voices from her fans who asked her to sue Neha Kakkar. She was sharing posts and stories by her fans on Instagram Stories.

However, recently she opened up about the issue and expressed her wish to take legal action against Neha Kakkar but is unable to do so because she doesn’t possess the legal rights to her song. She is extremely unhappy with the remake of her song, reported Hindustan Times.

Talking about amplifying voices on her Instagram stories she said, “I feel overwhelmed and touched on receiving so much love from all over for the song, so had to share their feelings.”

When asked whether she is planning to sue Neha Kakkar, Falguni Pathak said, “I wish I could but the rights are not with me.”

Neha Kakkar, on the other hand, indirectly addressed all the backlash on her Instagram Stories.

The Indian Express quoted her saying, “And for those who’re sooo unhappy seeing me happy and successful, I feel sorry for them. Bechaare… Plz keep commenting. I won’t even delete them. Coz I know and everybody knows what Neha Kakkar is!”

She further went on to add, “If talking in such a manner, saying such bad things about me, abusing me.. makes them feel good and if they think it will ruin my day. Then I’m sorry to inform them that I’m too blessed to have bad days. This God’s child is always happy coz God himself is keeping me happy.”
