If you opened and tried to refresh your feeds on any Facebook-owned apps today, you probably saw messages like “please try again” and “We’re sorry, but something went wrong.” Thankfully, you weren’t the only one.
According to News.com.au WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram suffered a global outage earlier this morning for about 20 minutes. Users were unable to send messages on Messenger too. While all the apps are back up and running again now, a lot of people questioned the second outage in a month with jokes and memes.
Initially, people thought something was wrong with their internet.

The apps haven’t confirmed the reason behind the outage but whatever it was, we hope it has been fixed now.
