This film ‘Remark’ brings to the fore how women are afraid to stand up against their husbands even after being subjected to regular abuse. Domestic violence still continues to be a huge matter of concern because people are afraid to interfere when they see a man beating his wife, and brush it away as a “personal matter”. The victims are then forced to weave stories to explain their bruises and frankly, we as a society should be ashamed.
