A lot of us, when we lived with our families, were fed dahi shakkar (curd and sugar) before going for an exam or an interview. In our culture, it is considered good luck. However, once we left home and started living by ourselves, especially in a different city, there was no one to continue this tradition on important days.
However, a software engineer named Abhay Patil shared how he was on his way for a face-to-face interview for a job and his cab driver, upon learning this fact, rushed to buy him a cup of curd to wish him luck.

Abhay took his number and after 3 months, called to inform him that he did get the job and asked him to hang out with him. Abhay took him out for lunch at a restaurant and the driver introduced him to his children and colony friends.
