Picture Of Footballer Emiliano Sala’s Dog ‘Nala’ Waiting For Him To Come Back Home Is Heartbreaking

For all of us who have dogs, we know and love the feeling of coming back home to them. Your dog will always wait for you sitting in front of the front door with the same enthusiasm each and every day, even if you’ve been away for 10 minutes!

Argentina striker Emiliano Sala’s dog ‘Nala’ is no different and has been waiting for him patiently ever since he went missing.

The Air Accident Investigators Branch (AAIB) have been looking for Emiliano Sala along with his pilot David Ibbotson who went missing after their plane disappeared.

Sala’s sister Romina took on Facebook to post a picture of Nala waiting for him and it’s heartbreaking!

She captioned the picture “Nala is waiting for you too”, and I don’t think I have been sadder in my life.

The plane had been taking Sala to Cardiff from Nantes in France on 21 January, shortly after the 28-year-old signed for the Premiership club Cardiff City.

Just recently Sala’s plane was recovered from the seabed after it emerged and a body had been spotted in the wreckage.

The AAIB has not declared identifying Sala’s or the pilot’s body yet and are consulting both men’s families.

Fans and players have been paying tribute to Sala. Even though they are hoping for him to return, the chances are almost nil.

Dogs can sense loss much before humans can. But while we are able to get over it with time, they can’t. The world might move on but Nala will keep on waiting.
